Kait Barr is a Licensed Practical Nurse and experienced nurse injector with over three years of experience in medical aesthetics. She completed her advanced aesthetic training at APT Injection Training in Oakville, Ontario, where she developed a strong foundation in advanced injectable techniques and facial assessment.

 

With a background in perioperative nursing, emergency medicine, and mental health, Kait brings a comprehensive clinical perspective to her aesthetic practice. Her medical experience allows her to prioritize safety, precision, and patient comfort while delivering natural, balanced results.

 

Kait is passionate about helping patients feel confident in their own skin. Known for her gentle approach and keen aesthetic eye, she focuses on enhancing natural beauty while maintaining facial harmony. She believes every treatment should be personalized, ensuring each patient feels heard, informed, and cared for from consultation to follow-up.

 

Outside of the clinic, Kait enjoys spending time at the beach, discovering waterfalls, and four-wheeling with friends whenever she gets the chance.

She had been interested in Cosmetic Dermatology procedures since 2012 and is enthusiastic to be offering cosmetic medicine to our patients and community.

 

After graduating with her MD from Dalhousie University, she interned at McGill after which she studied for 2 additional years at University of Massachusetts to receive her American Academy of Family Practice Degree in 2001.

 

She has attended courses in Botox and Fillers and enjoys being a member of Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine.

As part of the medical aesthetics team, Alicia Moses RN, BScN, is a Nurse Injector @ Strides. With over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, 15 dedicated to women’s health and wellness, Alicia brings a wealth of knowledge and industry know-how. She has 5 years of experience in dermatology, vascular surgery, and plastic surgery. She completed the Tracey Hotta Medical Aesthetics Neuromodulator and Dermal Filler Training course, accredited by the Canadian Nurses Association. She has trained with top injectors and is committed to professional development. She is a member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses and the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Specialty Nurses.

 

Alicia’s passion lies in delivering refreshing, subtle treatments and achieving classy and beautiful results without overdoing it. Alicia believes in empowering clients to look and feel their best, making health and wellness an investment in living their best lives. She balances what clients want with realistic expectations, a full face assessment, and a knowledge of the anatomy of beauty.
